Tyni appointed as conciliator for Åland and Ahtela for a new three-year term

The Government has appointed new labour dispute conciliators

Jukka-Pekka Tyni was appointed as the conciliator for the Åland Islands as of 16 February 2018. Jukka Ahtela was appointed as conciliator for a new three-year term starting from 1 April 2018. Ahtela continues as Deputy National Conciliator.

Janne Metsämäki, too, will continue as conciliator. His new three-year term started on 15 October 2017.

All conciliators operate in the whole country and act as conciliators in labour disputes as commissioned by the National Conciliator. One conciliator is always appointed for the Åland Islands.
